I ran a shorter run this week, since I had a long run a week ago and there were two weeks remaining until the Newport Half Marathon. Therefore, it was a good recovery week.
I chose a route with hills to get my heart rate up. But, I kept it simple.
I have been working on keeping my cadence close to the recommended 180 steps per minutes, even on hills.
I am hoping to perform well in the Newport Half Marathon with Chris on April 15, 2023.
